About this product
The FELIX F-751 Avocado Quality meter precisely and non-destructively measures dry matter, the key quality and ripeness indicator of the avocado. Eliminate the dehydrator or microwave oven. Suitable for Hass and all other varieties and all supplying countries. Ideal for QC in packhouses.
Using near infrared (NIR) technology, the F-751 evaluates fruit quality in seconds, instead of slow, labour intensive and destructive measurement by weighing, drying and weighing again.
Enhance your avocado quality control with the FELIX F-751 Meter. This handheld device uses NIR technology to non-invasively measure avocado ripeness by analyzing dry matter content, offering a quick and reliable solution for growers and retailers to ensure top fruit quality.
This is an imported product and the price is dependent on the exchange rate at the time of purchase. Please contact us directly for a firm quotation.
We supply the FELIX range of Fruit Quality Meters to cover most applications including testing the quality of avocados. The F-750 uses state of the art NIR technology to estimate quality metrics such as titratable acidity, interior colour, total soluble solids and dry matter.
The measurement range of the F-751 is 14 to 40% dry matter. The latest firmware upgrade now permits measurement to an accuracy of within 1.15 dry matter (DM) units on a single fruit and 0.83 DM units on fruit in lots of 5.? ?There are similar, specially enginnered meters for mango and kiwi fruit.
