It’s an upgrade from the EC10, offering Bluetooth connectivity to seamlessly integrate with an app on both Android and iOS devices. Unique features include no ongoing license fees, compatibility with Agrinet for data management, and a user-friendly design with an integrated battery indicator, Bluetooth connection light, and auto-calibration.
It’s designed to be durable and easy to use, with a one-piece wraparound case and additional accessories like carry bags available.

Step-by-Step Guide
- Unpack the EC20 Plate Meter: Carefully open the packaging and ensure you have the Plate Meter, battery, and any additional accessories you purchased.
- Install Batteries: Insert the batteries into the retained battery holder, ensuring correct orientation and secure fit.
- Download the App: Install the compatible app on your Android or iOS device from the respective app store. The app can be installed on multiple devices without ongoing license fees.
- Bluetooth Pairing: Turn on the EC20 Plate Meter and enable Bluetooth on your smartphone or tablet to pair the devices. Look for the Bluetooth connection light on the EC20 as a confirmation.
- Calibration and Setup: Use the app to perform auto-calibration of the EC20 Plate Meter before use. Ensure the battery indicator light is checked for sufficient charge.
- Data Management: Through the app, download your farm map from Agrinet, proceed with your field measurements, and upload the data after your walk.
- Carry and Protect: Consider purchasing a carry bag to protect the EC20 Plate Meter during transport and storage.
